Re: Paul Hirst Marvelpress Introduction
Hi All
Interesting forum and lots of activity great to see such an interest in the sublimation business.
I am Paul Hirst co founder and director of Marvelpress Limited located in Sheffield UK. I have been involved in sublimation now for nearly 20 years previously living in the USA and our company were the developers of the worlds largest selling sublimation ink ArTainium before our company (Tropical Graphics) were acquired by Sawgrass in 2003. I was previously managing director of Sawgrass Europe before setting up Marvelpress in about 2009.
The primary focus of our company is the development of new products and technologies and over the last few years we have launched Digi Coat, Picta Leather, Lumenglass and probably the worlds largest professional grade 3D sublimation system for mobile phone decoration, Sublideck to name a few. We also offer print services both here and in the USA for large big box retailers printing 100s of thousands of products per year so are very familiar with the trials and tribulations of building a scalable and repeatable print business! In 2014 it is our intention to invest heavily into the supplies side of the business and we are looking forward to bringing you new technologies that will allow you to open up new markets and customers.
I have over the years been involved in many forums and I see this one is no different with lots of other suppliers involved. Just to let you know I / we do not comment on other suppliers products or services I am primarily focussed on what we can do for our customers and to grow the sublimation market
Thanks.....

Wow, welcome to the forum ... you've got an impressive history, and one which has probably helped a lot of people here build businesses on. Very pleased to see you here. Be good for you to get in touch with Justin to be an 'official' supplier on here (if contact not already made)

Re: Paul Hirst Marvelpress Introduction
Sublimation royalty!
Love many of your products but not tthe pricing. They are high quality and at the premium end of the market and just wish that my customer base was toward that end of the scale. Someone from your office gave me a call last week actually and had a chat about pricing and the likes. Interested to see if there are any new items in the pipeline.
