Just replied to your PM Nikkie.

I'm currently testing Xpres papers and getting some fantastic results. Yolo were also very good but I've struggled a little with washability. TMT papers I know are excellent but I haven't got them to go through the 511 yet without wrapping around the fuser unit.

I will have to ask again.. I have now a blank sample from Merlin Transfer of their CL TrimFree - had it before I went away for the week and a little worried about testing lol

Only problem I've had with some papers is that they stick to the fuser unit. Not a major problem as long as you press the release button on the unit and pull the paper out rather than trying to fish it out and damaging the fuser unit itself.....then you need to run 2 or 3 blank sheets through to clear the image :-)

I appreciate why Xpres send these papers pre-printed and this is a good test to see if your press is up to the job but as I explained, if they won't work through your own printer what's the point?

Well.. fingers crossed tomorrow that I won't need to worry about the fuser unit lol

I will re message Xpres with that exact point.. when it arrived I was like how can I test that through my printer!! lol

Will let you know how I get on with the Trim Free (press included) then will need to do a wash test.

Be very careful if the paper wraps around the fuser! ;-) What press do you have?

I have a fairly generic press from corelgraph but it has a good pressure.. the only issue that it allegedly has is for the two stage paper not holding a low enough temp.. so fingers crossed for these it will be enough..

If not I will have one very new C511 printer for sale lol
