SG, I was a Pro DJ for Sixteen years - Spent Ten of those in Sidari (Corfu).. you can imagine how life was when the Drachma was the currency, and I had the top job there so could live like an absolute King.
I retired from that at 35 as I thought I was getting too old for it.. but I do Hospital Radio now so don't feel so bad about that decision.
You tend to find people like us doing things like we are (on this forum) as we don't like the 9-5 routine and like to work when we feel 'Good' (For me, in the evenings and late afternoon). after saying that I am betting I will get a barrage of people telling me the opposite
I keep a small account of those days Ear.

Re: Weekend of fun
I have often thought about radio but I simply do not think I could do it, my brother is on the radio and he has often said that I should make the move (as I am not getting any younger!!!) but speaking to myself for a few hours in a room doesn't appeal
After this weekend though, which required 300 two position Travis garments being printed on Friday evening/Sat Morning, and then a drive to Bristol for their concert, plus another 1008 Beyonce mugs printed ready for delivery on Monday for her Australian tour I am beginning to think a 9-5 job might not be such a bad idea!
