Hello, Looking for a bit of advice. I've recently taken up a bit of wedding videography at weekends and was looking at different methods of printing images onto discs. Each one however seems to have its problems, 1 - printing direct to disc with inkjet (inks run if touched by liquids), 2 - press on paper labels (peel off after time), 3 - Lightscribe (starts to fade after a few years). Now i'm wondering if its possible to press a transfer of some type on using a heat press, sorry I know this is the dye sub forums but from what I can see it's impossible to get 8.5gb DVD disc with a polyester coating, plus a typical sublimation image takes about 50-60 secs which I certain would kill the disc completely!!!
Has anyone any experience with this topic as any help would be very much appreicated.
Many Thanks
Davy
