Hi Sheryl_1975
Paying the membership always helps :-) However what exactly do you need?

A car window sticker can be any size and shape and is printed via many different methods, what exactly are you looking for?

I have always wanted to know how to print car stickers that go on the inside of the car window, I am also interested in any advise on this thread.

Car Stickers are printed one of two ways depending on the quantity. Either screen print or digital using something like a Versacam or Mimaki. Digital is fast becoming the most popular way these days as it can be quicker and the difference in cost is nominal, especially when you consider that digital machines are often print and cut meaning that bespoke shapes can be printed at no extra cost.

There are two types of material, white and clear. If you need them reverse printed (so they stick to the inside of a window) white are cheaper but you have to leave a decent amount of white on the design to ensure that they actually stick. Clear is better as they are printed on the back of the sticker thus ensuring that the part that sticks to the window has the maximum surface area for adhesion.

Depending on the machine some digitals also have the ability to back the sticker with white. I have a Versacam that prints white and for the most part it is very good for this. However the white is weaker than a screen white due to the fact that the white is much thinner. Most people do not notice but it is worth noting.

Several people on here have machines that can print window stickers and I am sure all of us would be willing to offer a trade print service if you are interested. Members that come to mind are Me , Roger C and Jason. I am sure there are others but I do not know, its essentially anyone that has a print and cut machine.

TMT also have an A4 sheet that is designed for laser printing, this is pretty good if you have a white toner printer. But you would have to cut out the sticker by hand afterwards.

Lastly, for the record, I have never heard of sublimation car window stickers. Its a plastic and sublimation takes heat and many seconds to transfer so I would presume it would melt.
