Re: New product design software - Demo Video
OK, time to let you have a play with a demo! A few quick points to make. This is a working DEMO, it is not the final product and does not have full functionality. It is just to give you a good idea how the software looks and feels so please feel free to give me your feedback but remember, the final product will be even better
Once you have made your design, click the Add To Cart. At the moment this will generate your final print ready image and give a direct link. Again, this is just for demo purposes, this button would obviously be integrated into your e-commerce website. Please don't select helvetica in the fonts drop down.
Take it easy on the server, don't throw loads of massive images at it!
By all means take a look at all the products set up for the demo, highlights for me are the wraparound on the iPhone case, the first mug with template and the journal image. These give a good indication of what you can expect.
Please ask as many questions about the software you need to and let me have your valuable feedback.
Here's the link, pop an email addy into the box and you'll be taken to the demo! Enjoy!

Re: New product design software - Demo Video
Thanks for the quick feedback Phil
It is good (and only gets better) Price wise I don't think it's particularly expensive, certainly when compared to the other products I've evaluated that don't even do 10% of what this product achieves. I'm discussing a pricing tier system so that buyers can get what they need without paying for features they don't. Of course, you can always upgrade as and when you need to but say for example you ONLY print iPhone cases, there's no point in having a list of 40 products to choose from.
Again, I will ensure pricing is detailed as soon as the final decisions have been made. In the meantime, let me know if you've seen anything that comes anywhere close in performance and features to this and we'll see how it compares

I like the tiered pricing idea, especially if you will only be doing a couple of different items. I haven't really looked around too much and from the few that I have seen nothing really comes close to what this seems to be able to do. One small thing to point out though, when I was playing with the designer after I had uploaded an image, the mockup on the left looked great to start but then the image seemed to blur a little even when I rotated it. Not sure if this is down to the processing power of my laptop or not but thought I would point it out just to see if its just me or not.

I think what you're referring to is deliberate. To enable the preview to update as quickly (instantly) as it does the image will be lower res. The filter is then applied to soften the preview image...works quite well I think
Obviously the final image is full res.

Ah ok fair enough and makes sense. Haven't actually gotten as far as getting the final image but will do that next.

Looks very good.
Can you design your own "Blank" templates or do you have to pay for these to be made?

Yes you can design your own templates and upload them to the system
However, there will be a limitation on ‘how many’ templates you can use based on the licence tier of the user.
Template creation will be driven by an easy-to-use GUI (Graphic User Interface) based tool. This tool will support various file formats in future however currently PNG, JPG and SWF (for vector) are in the development.
