Re: Using More Than One Colour Flock

I have been printing shirts using Pro Flock from MDP for a couple of months now, using only one colour. I would like to use more than one colour on a shirt, but would like to know if there is any kind of tape to hold down each piece whilst pressing?

Are you layering the flock? I've done it before but you have to watch for 'glue' type marks where it overlaps.

No, I don't want to layer it. I will just have different coloured fonts and images on the shirt and I want to press it in one go. I am just wondering if there is some kind of heat resistant tape I can use to stop all of the different pieces of flock from moving or curling up.

You could probably just use sublimation heat tape, I wouldn't expect that to leave a residue (brown rather than green tape) or, you could use application tape, Xpres and Dorotape as examples, I used to use this for some multiple colour vinyl transfers, you lay them out and put the transfer tape across everything and apply in one hit.

Thanks Justin. That sounds like exactly what I am looking for.
