Were you printing this out onto transfer paper then contour cutting?

Re: silhouette software help please
I normally use the trace in illustrator then create outlines, switch the colour of the image to black then import it into silhouette as an SVG, found that it works much better that way but that is for vector work cause my cameo cuts so much better than in illustrator. Cutwizard is not very good at all unfortunately. Bring on the new cutter!

No im using white vinyl .
Had to play around with all the settings in the trace mode eventually I worked it out.
This is what scares me about buying or even using the cutter I have at home a refine as I dont have a clue about how to trace in any other software.
I have signblazer elements and I get stuck at the very beginning so god knows how I will trace and cut in this. I was tempted to learn and buy a new cable for my refine and start using this with rolls of vinyl rather than the pre cut ones I buy at the moment which is working out at £1.84 for two tshirts

Wow thats quite a lot of effort to weed and cut that design out. How many shirts is your order for? Might be worth subbing out to a screen printer, thats what I did with the leavers hoodies orders I had this year. They printed the back and I offered extras like initials etc.
With regards to the vinyl why not buy the roll and cut down into the size you need? Thats what I do with my cameo, I just measure 330mm wide then cut down and its always 500mm long then. Saves money that way rather than buying the pre cut sheets as they are charging you to do something you can do yourself. JMO though

This is a job that I really didn't want as the client wants something for nothing. But for 200 tshirts I couldn't say no. They are to be given away as freebies so if anyone wants to quote me for 200 tshirts screen printed but the client will supply the shirts my ears are open.
