Wanted - Vinyl Cutter (24" preferred)

Hi all,

Just thought I would ask if anyone was looking to offload a 24" vinyl cutter. At the moment I'm not too fussed about brand but it must work with Win7 and also Illustrator as that is what I use. I'm currently using a Cameo for my cutting but wanted to get into a bit more sign vinyl and don't want to keep subbing the work out. Also annoyed that I missed out on a Summa D60 recently (damn my budget!). Budget is around £200-250 but am willing to go a little higher depending on model/quality etc.

i am still using my mh71 its a chinese cutter and it works perfectly for me, i get really fine cut detail and it does the job its supposed to. Cost is minimal, comes with stand and extras so i was happy. Its a good little starter and you dont have to break the bank. I know others here use it as well.

heres the ebay link where i got mine, i just asked for tshirt vinyl rather than sign vinyl when i had mine. If you do grab this one, when its delivered you will see the cut head is not on the rollers properly, its easy to mount, they just strap it up to protect it, off the rollers.

Hi ssp, thanks for the info. I have seen the MH721 and it does look pretty good for the price. What software does it work with? Im currently using silhouette studio with my cameo which is awesome but do most of my designing in illustrator. I am looking at winpcsign though as that looks pretty simple to use and should work with this cutter.

when i bought it , it came with signcut and a license for the year, I also have bought flexi as well but that was from them directly.

Thanks, I've bought a cutter now and will see how it goes, hopefully will be a smooth transition from my cameo. gonna give Winpcsign a go as well as its supposed to be compatible with the cutter I have got.
