HELP!! AGAIN!!

Ive been trying to use this printer for sublimation.
I bought refillable carts and filled them, but once the sheet is printed nothing comes onto
my blanks hen i press??
I have tried both sides of paper in case was trying wrong side
I ran off lots of prints to make sure no ordinary ink is left in heads/tubes etc.

Does anyone have any ideas what i need to do?? or has experienced this problem?

thanks guys

I'm guessing because you've chosen the Brother that you're ink isn't a supported brand either? We can't discuss specific thirdy party inks on here but from what you've said the ink you have isn't sublimation.

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer. I think what Justin is asking is if you have any other carts to try in the Brother or do you just have the refillable carts?

It does sound like the incorrect ink type if they are printing ok on sublimation paper but not transferring onto the blanks.

yes the normal carts work fine, it cant be incorrect ink as same ink works with epson.

could it be normal ink still on head s and in tubes etc, tho have reeled off lots of sheets of heavy print and still no difference.

do i need to flush it thru and if so what with?
thanks guys x

I say this with meaning no disrespect whatsoever but...this is a good example of why the supported route should never be overlooked :-) OK, but that won't help you here......

So we know the inks are deffo sublimation? The ink is flowing as you're getting printouts.....have you used this paper before with your Epson?

i understand what u r saying but as im really just playing at the mo, the more expensive is not an option, maybe further down the line but not right now xx
def sub ink getting printouts (but could that be old normal ink still flowing thru)?

yes i ve used the paper wioth epson and its fine, and have used 2 diff sorts of paper on both siudes with no joy.

I agree it does sound like its not sub ink but it def is? xx

I agree Justin and thats the main reason why I went for the Ricoh as my first Subli printer. I will be looking at other options at some point for A3/A3+ and will consider things like the Brother but for now its much easier to have someone a phone call away when something like this happens.

@india - That may be the case with there still being inks in the line but I really don't know much about this so not much help I'm afraid. Sorry but hope you figure out the issue and let us know how you get on.
