How I get a perfect print everytime
Re: How I get a perfect print everytime
I thought that the liquid part of sublimation ink was just to allow to disperse dye particles to flow through the printer etc, and that it's the dye particles sublimating and not the water evaporating that is the important part of the process?

You would probably know more than me tbh and i'm more than likely completely wrong in my previous post.
My point is it wouldn't hurt for tech to move forward a little and with sawgrass having a monopoly on ink why would they bother to spend money improving it.

That would be a question for Sawgrass to answer (who are on this forum)galerion;74271 wrote:My point is it wouldn't hurt for tech to move forward a little and with sawgrass having a monopoly on ink why would they bother to spend money improving it.

Re: How I get a perfect print everytime
If I am doing top to bottom mugs where the image bleeds off the mug I use a teriyaki gill as below
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_nos ... yaki+grill
This fits 10 mugs on it.
I put the mugs on there to warm up the base before pressing as I would a normal mug, less on the electric and if you get the temp just right then the rotation means a smooth production line.
I recently did a run of 1008 like this without one failure.
