Coating peeling fromsublimation lighters?!

I have been using sublimation lighters from LongForte, however 1 customer has claimed the coating has peeling or is peeling off.......so sent a replacement and they same it is happening again??

Any one else had an issue like this with this lighters?

Have you spoke to longforte about this, im sure they would be more then happy to help, they are also a member on here, try messaging them.

yes. I used sublimation lighters before and had them from several suppliers. NONE of them are scratch proof. after little wile in the pocket you will notice the coating is peeling off or just simply disappear. I am not sure if there are any better lighters on the market. I never find them anyway...

I've sold 1000's of these now, just this one customer........claiming the coating coming off within 1 day on BOTH lighters??? never had the issue before.

That said I have only just starting using the Longforte lighters? so not sure if others had had an issue with them?

Has the customer returned a lighter so you can see it? Maybe they are expecting to hold up and be bullet proof?

Ask about the conditions wheres its being used.
Also what type of lighter is this? a zippo style?

Yes it's the yippo sytle silver ones.

I wondered that, but for it to peel in less than a day??? I have tried to scratch the coating off and could'nt??

They have sent very clear photos showing it.

I'm still trying to find out if anyone else has had this issue with the longforte lighters? As I have only just started getting them from there and already a problem has arisen?

I think your best bet would ask the customer to return the lighters to you, that was you can pass them onto longforte, but also inspect them yourself.

Offer them a replacement (once longforte have looked at it) and maybe a future discount as a gesture of good will?,

yep. as Daz said... Just make sure he will return BOTHJ lighters so you know he is not showing you this same lighter every time
