Re: I Phone Problems

I have pressed about 30 I Phone 4's without any problems. Have gone to press the I phone 5's and te paper has stuck
to the Blank ! I have made sure the plastic coating was taken off before pressing, the only thing that is different I am
using Trupix Paper from BMS but I can't think that is the problem. Thanks for any advice.

Reduce the temp down and/or lower the time of pressing. If paper is sticking to the plate that is usually the polyester coating on the metal slightly melting and fibres of the paper then bonding to the surface.

Try less heat or less time, I had this problem also when I left the paper on too long after it came out of the press.

TruePix is fine for most applications, but I find that on aluminium phone inserts it does tend to stick. The problem comes from the required temperature (most places recommend between 180-200°C). Switching to a different brand actually fixed the problem for us - we can print as low as 170°C for 60 seconds with virtually no sticking. The other plus is that we found we got better blacks, reds and generally more ink off the paper and into the product.
