If you have any scraps of polyester fabric, wrap this around the mug, and then wrap around your paper tranfer, so you are pressing to the polyester and not the mug itself - this will test if the inks are the problem or the mug. For this test, set your press to 200 degrees, but you only need to press for 1 minute.

off the top of my head this morning, before I'd really woken up - never thought about it before, but it's a good test for flat bed presses, so figured there must be a way of using the same principle in a non-flat press.
You could expand the idea, for testing print designs for mugs, without actually using mugs too.

Hi guys,

Just giving feedback.

I went to the store and the seller gave me the wrong ink!!!

After changing, the mugs started pressing fine. I'm still with some color differences between the original photo and the mug, but I'll do a little research before I start sending more questions.

do you have an ICC profile for your inks/printer? This is likely the cause of your colour problems, or you don't have your graphics software colour management set up correctly.
Don't expect miracles though, there is a big difference between what you can see on a computer monitor and what a printer is capable of printing - even more so with sublimation inks.

I don't have a profile for my inks and printer. I need to confess that I have a very improvised setup here... lol.

I had a "brown" black. Now after some ajustements in the pressure, used the Epson Driver "vivid colors" setup and it's getting better. But still looks brown.
