Large flag 5ft x 3ft

Hi
I have a customer who wants a large black flag (5ft x 3ft) with their bands logo text on. It needs to be a black flag and the writing white.

can anyone do this? I am thinking possibly vinyl or does anyone know of any other methods?

If you can give me a price that would be great

price would depend on the logo and text and how big it needs to be to look good on the flag, email addy sent in pm

I once did a similar size flag, customer provided the sheet...I mean flag and I pressed a very large 2 colour vinyl onto it. Had to position and then press in several sections but it worked a treat.

i have done quite a few of these now, the biggest issues are the vinyl going onto such thin material, glue comes through, and of course the weight of the vinyl means they won't actually "fly" well as flags, but most are used as wall backings for bands anyway so never get to see the sunlight or wind !!

It's just a large banner rather than a flag, just to hang behing the band when they are on stage.

If hanging on stage, it is going to need to be flame retardant/proof either through being made of pre-treated or inherent material, or treated afterwards.
Some stage managers will pull out their lighter and put it to the incoming backdrop to test it if told it is definitely flame proof and they doubt it actually is.

Ideally, you're also going to want a way of hanging it to the fly bar sewn into the material at the top.
And if you want it to hang nicely, then a pocket sewn along the bottom for a chain to be inserted for weight.

If it's going to be hanging on a backdrop why not just get a banner made up...

Yeah it's a banner I am after now. It was originally a flag but he realised that it was going to be a little bit to expensive.

Of any one can print a large banner (black, with white writing) let me know

Ricky a custom made flag is around £40-45 and a banner of the same size is around £25.00.....loads of places on internet.
