getting the felt belt to run without travelling to one side or another is a pain mate, what you planning on running through it?pisquee;72100 wrote:Finally took the 100 amp RCD out and replaced with standard double pole isolator and all running fine. Just need to do some tweaking to get the speed set right for what we're wanting to do, but initial testing is looking good. Finally products we've wanted/needed to do are within reach, with just 6 weeks until our next trade show!

Yeah, noticed it moving a bit when it was warming up/doing the test prints.
How wide is your felt - ours is about 1.03metres, rather than the 1m15 width of the machine which is a bit disappointing - we were supplied with another as a spare, but haven't been out to the store to see what size it is. We also got a couple of spare elements, which is good for future.
Does your warm down function work - apparently it's supposed to keep rolling after turning the heater switch off until it cools to around 80 degrees/for 40 minutes, but ours just stops dead straight away, so I turned the heating control down to 0 degrees and ran it til it had cooled.
One thing we discovered on ours is that there's a small blue component in the electrics/control side of the unit which isn't secured into its socket - just plugs in with its pins, but isn't held/secured in place by them. Was told to make sure this was still in position when moving the unit around as it comes out easily (which ours obviously was after been palletted half way up the country!)

We're mainly planing on using it for getting designs onto fashion items - the standard available sublimation t-shirts are not very stylish, and we want to be able to print the full fabric, so better to print it and then cut and sew into the item. Also things like scarves, pillow cases/cushions, and lampshades.
Mainly for our own design work, but also as an expansion to our printing for other artist/designers, and our new lampshade project/company which i've got to the top of Google (with the right search term) even though we aren't really up and running with it yet.

Been aiming/planning/wanting one since we started this design business, so our heads were ready for it coming, and some artwork designs already done, so it's exciting to finally having it running after having it nearly a month now.
