Looking to buy another sheet, noticed a few being sold on eBay, longer sheets as well.

Anybody used these or have any advice on which to user/not use please?

What price are those? Edit, I found them on MDP site. Still seems funny to me that you need to use these sheets for vinyl when MDP state that you don't?

I've never had to use a mat when cutting vinyl on my Silhouette Cameo. Also with regards to the 12x24 carrier sheets, I ended up buying ones meant for the Cricut machines. Do the job just as well and I purchased a pack of 2 off Amazon for under £15 including delivery. This was 3 or 4 months ago but I'm sure Amazon, eBay or some other craft supplier will have them.

Ive used the MDP ones they are good.

You dont have to use a mat.
If you line it up with the SMALL line on left (not the first long one) and it is in straight and cut straight it should not slip.
(although i have now found 1 that did slip and it was a grafiti art one)

Apparently too much force can make it slip.
My settings are blade 1 speed 8 thickness 9

I love the cameo, but went through a few jobs where it just kept slipping and I was getting very frustrated not the least. But since I bought the mat (which is unused) ive yet to use it.

Trying to cut Xpres Super Cut last night and it was slipping, ended up having to break design into four, luckily it allowed this. Stuck on the mat and it was fine but I spoke to MDP just after I bought it and they said the mat only need be used on smaller pieces of vinyl....I'll have to run further tests.

I use MDP hotflex and oracle 651 and ritrama L, no problem

Artflex Graffiti i had slipping with.

i have not tried the xpres super cut.

Maybe its different with different vinyls. Would be interesting to know what others find works/doesnt work with the cameo.
