Posting Mugs
Re: Posting Mugs
Hello!
As you may know already im just about to jump into the scene, and ive been pricing up all sorts. The mugs ive been looking at come with "gift" boxes but im guessing these will just be flimsy white card, So i was just wondering what packaging do you use for mugs?
I like the polystyrene packing then pack into a cardboard box, is this what you all do?

Re: Posting Mugs
same as this , i use the polystyrene boxes and have tested them to destruction in my opinion you wont find a safer way short of hand delivering them i dont send them in cardboard boxes as well though thats extra cost and a bit of over kill. we usually send them out in purple bags but this colour may be changing in the very near future some people dont even use bags and just tape up and put a label on the poly box personally i think it looks more proffessional in a wrapper of some sortMaccbean;70710 wrote:I just buy the moulded polystyrene mailers and post in a bag.

Quick search on posting mugs will flag up a couple of threads already running on this
Re: Posting Mugs
Lots of bubble wrap and brown paper. Keeps the cost down too. One mug costs £2.60.[2nd class]

Re: Posting Mugs
Styrene box, plastic mailing bag and fragile tape. It's time consuming though and takes up a lot of storage space, so will probably switch to double walled mug boxes once I've used these up.

There was an interesting programme on the telly the other day about how the private postal services treat the mail!
