Not very helpful advice for someone that already has the printer. If we can help them to get their printer running better, then surely that is something as a forum we can do? It my not be a Sawgrass warrantied system, but no reason he can't/shouldn't use it. He's already said he is using Sawgrass inks, so Sawgrass and one of their dealers somewhere has their profit. If the OP wants to use a different printer to one Sawgrass says they should, surely that is their own business. From their posts it seems that their issue is with getting colour management set up and running correctly. If you as a Sawgrass dealer don't want to (or can't) help, because it isn't an official Sawgrass system then fine, but the Sawgrass website does have good instructions for setting up colour management, and as the OP is buying and using Sawgrass inks, then surely there shouldn't be an issue in him using them, or being recommended in doing so.

Just pointing out that the 3350 isn't the same as the 3300. All profiling is set up for the 3300 and whilst the 3350 uses the same carts I wouldn't want other browsers believing the 3350 is a suitable printer. All advice given thusfar implied all was okay, but this isn't the case. Just because there are profiles for the 3300 doesn't mean they'll work fine for the 3300. If the OP had approached a sawgrass dealer then they would have been steered away from the 3350.
