Hyraxx, this maybe a silly question but do you let your phone covers air dry or do you dunk them in water to stop the sublimation process? I've seen youtube videos with both methods.

The machine you have is almost the same as the first gen machine we had early last year, this case was done at 190c for 11mins as a test and the sides are perfect we never tried lowering the time as we did one at 6 mins and it turned out poor so just did it for 11mins to to take into account the cool down when adding it to the draw. Cooks for 10mins in reality as it can take up to a min to get it laid down and to squeeze the air out.

We've bought ever gen of the 3D machins sold by microtec and the 3rd gen is by far the most impressive, we also have the 3D film from BMS but have not had chance to try it, but will give that a try next week and report back

We usually keep them on the puck, and then depending if its a matt finished case we air cool, or for a gloss finished case we use the metal clamp system to stop them deforming in the water (you can use cover on the puck and lowering into water too which gives the same result, but we like the clamp as can drop and move on to the next without damage to the gloss surface). We have tried using the cooling air jigs and found them not to be as good as just leaving the case of the puck.

ipad/mini I would also leave on the puck to cool down, always worth buying more pucks. I've enclosed to picks showing the clamp system and the main two kinds of pucks the blue one has a much lower profile and makes for taping better, but the silver one conducts heat better and give a better print on the sides.

Which machine do you have? Do you have a link? Wondering how much these go for now, might upgrade our machinery. Do these need to be hand wrapped with paper, or do they use a film?

Please let me know what machine can sublimate phone covers in 1.5 minutes. If your talking about the machine in my original post what are you cranking the temperature up to?
