The company I bought them from state they are suitable for printing too.....

That's the answer there, suitable for printing could mean screen printing, transfer printing, DTG (Direct To Garment) printing, vinyl printing etc.

Sublimation printing is what you need to look for (as said above).

They are cotton bibs so it wont transfer properly and last, it will look faded and washed out. The company you purchased them from may have meant suitable for DTG printing not for sye-sub printing.

Its like dye sub printing but for those who cant type quick enough to keep up with this thread!!!

Can I print onto satin with this or fleece fabric?

Satin is a polyester base so in theory yes. Fleece probably wouldnt work because of the pile.
