Re: Any tips for promoting new business

Post by Pascale »

Hi,

I'm starting a new t-shirt and canvas printing business in Brighton, UK and wanted to know if anyone has any ideas of how I can best promote my business.

I was thinking of markets but there aren't many in Brighton.

Any tips would be great

Having read the many posts you've made today Pascale, it seems to me that your new business venture lacks any direction.

The costs alone in purchasing good equipment you've enquired about, are substantial if you plan on doing it properly. Besides the costs, each of the garment decorating methods you've mentioned comes with BIG learning curves. E.G. buying an embroidery machine today doesn't mean you'll be producing goods tomorrow!

If I were you, I'd put a little more thought into your business plans and then, when you make a decision which you wish to pursue, concentrate and master that particular avenue before taking on something else.

Don't forget, you can always outsource to start with just to ensure you'll have the business to support your large investment.
Neoflex Direct to Garment Printer, Brother BAS-463 3 Head Embroidery Machine, Gerber Edge FX & 1, Gerber GS15Plus Plotter, Ricoh GX-7000 GelsPrinter, Adkins BETA Major Pneumatic Press, Graphtec CE5000-60 & Craft Robo, HTP616 Twinhead Mug Press & 2 Halogen Ovens.
