Hi Guys, ive just bought a few items i dont normally sell which include the following
draw string bag

Now i would like to use these for marketing, eg stalls, markets, boot sales, etc but i would also like to take some nice images and use them for my website. does anyone recommend what images i should be printing that would generate interest from all sorts, i dont really want a table full of my ugly mug or my handsome babies face. Any ideas ?

Re: What to sublimate?
This is something I've often thought of. I tend to use my own family photos to avoid any copyright issues, plus I know the photos inside out so can tell instantly if the print quality is right.
I remember at the P&P show a few years back, one of the suppliers used one colourful illustration on all products and it really did look effective on display. Also shows the difference in print quality between different substrates.
That said, it's also good to print the type of stuff your customers ask for.....really poor quality photos taken on their 0.5 mega pixel box brownie phone of their dogs! Seriously though, weddings, family portraits etc.
I've often said it might be an idea to have a library of high res images available to members of many different blanks, that way you can use them on your site if you want to. Obviously we don't all want the same but they could be replaced over time.

how about fruit or flowers and then cars or whatever, you could even maybe take a photo of an object with a mobile - badly, then a good mobile, then a good camera, and have those pictures ready to show people why quality counts, say on a mouse mat, where each "good better best" was across it a 3rd at a time. I know the company Justin means who do the display of all the same photos, i was really impressed the first time i saw it, and then walked past the 2nd time missing some new products as they all looked the same as last time i saw them - lesson to be learnt there. also you could use 4 of everything and make them seasonal, ie xmas spring/valentines/easter(as one) summer - holiday snaps ice creams, beach huts whatever, and so on - that way you could change your displays over the year - think of the photo booths and how their images never change
