Re: Setting up a basic website
OK, rapidly losing patience with Wordpress. A friend (well, using that word loosly here) asked me to look at their WP site. I spent hours getting it sorted and now I come to insert a picture, the simplest of tasks, I spend hours going around in circles...so, I'm fed up!
I'm looking at setting them up a basic site from scratch, something I can control from the word go....not cannibalise someone else's crap.
Any opinions on the best way to do this? I use Opencart so might be able to set something basic up this way. I would prefer to use an on-line service so they can update themselves...uhm, maybe.
Any ideas?

You know my opinion Justin, weebly all the way, not much to pay for the pro version which allows a lot of great stuff for websites.

Re: Setting up a basic website
Forgot to say, reason I'm not just using OC is that it's a very simple site, contact, price list etc. no need for a store or commerce of any kind.
Will check out Weebly, I saw that on a search
What's the difference between free and paid versions? Don't really want a monthly charge for this unless I have to.

I use weebly and I've just set a site up for my husband too. So easy to do.

Re: Setting up a basic website
Am I right in thinking Weebly doesn't like Chrome?
Really struggling with some basic set up here.
edit: OK, pretty much on track now, bit of perserverance!

I haven't John, something else I wanted to 'get around to' years ago but never did
Weebly is working quite well for this project, just trying to get the redirect to work now!
