I have bought some second hand wraps and they are filthy, covered in ink and grunge. What is the best way to clean them?

OK I am a bit anal about keeping things clean and maintained, but these take the biscuit!

Eventually it dawned on me. So crank up the oven and put the wraps in to burn off the ink. That worked. but what a mess in the oven. Good job this is a studio oven with no food use. The stench was incredible and my nice shiny stainless steel interior was left with a blue/green thin oily coating. So major oven clean job in progress at the moment. The wraps then went in the dishwasher on an intense clean to clean up the outsides.
The mess these wraps made of mugs used for a trial was just quite amazing. So somebody has been using these .... unbelievable.

Hopefully I now have clean wraps.
