just bought 10 rolls of heat tape then other day, thought i would try the 5/6mm ones for a change as i got a good deal on them....GOOD GOD.
the size of my fingers trying to work with this tape is unreal !.
to small to sit on a tape dispenser as well.....

think its bin time and off to order the 10 or 15 mm ones

anyone else tried this size and find it ok ?
or is it just my big fat fingers that are the problem lol

Lol, I once went on a Falconry day and the guy running it said I had the smallest hands he'd ever seen! I still can't get on with that small tape though!

With fingers like bratwurst sausages I am sometimes amazed at how I can do those fiddly things and handle small objects .......... (stop, don't do it and comment with something witty - this is a family friendly forum).

Then it comes to typing, and although I can type quite fast I use a few keyboards a day and each are laid out different ............. hey, that's my excuse anyway :)

well, thats it confirmed. ordered some more decent 10mm...but -
has anyone tried the 15-20mm ones yet?

had to use that 5mm stuff tonight - arghhhh...its sticks to your fingers like cheese for gods sake (only thing i could think off - gimme break lol), and when you are doing a small run of orders, its a pain in the backside fighting with yer fingers to get the stuff off them while trying to load the next case/s ect:mad: - and i aint known for my patience as you know  - 20st man dancing round the room cussing at tape stuck to his fingers is funny TBH...not at the time but later when i sit back and think about it

lesson learned - when searching for sublimation goods -

google search - sublimation blanks and accessory's for fat fingered people

this is all a bit bizarre! I have only ever used the thin stuff - made a mount for it to go into a sellotape dispenser - now I have fairly big hands and whilst my fingers are not like half a pound of Walls best (is there such a thing? Mmm best not to start a sausage snobbery war here !) they are fairly large as well. I get on just fine with the narrow tape. Admittedly it was a bit fiddly just using it from the reel but on the dispenser its fine.

I think you should all send me your unwanted thin tape ;o)

regards
