Re: transfer tape leaving residue please help
its clear and i tried using it when transferring 3g jet opaque at 350f and 30 secs do you think its due to needing to press for 10 secs then cool peel then repress for 20-30 secs?

Re: transfer tape leaving residue please help
Is this tape specifically for the transfer of vinyl for garments?

Used to get this with the green tape occasionally, switched to the brown tape and no longer have any issues. The brown tape is rated for higher temps and works a treat.

Re: transfer tape leaving residue please help
I would concur with Justin then in that the tape is not designed for such a high temperature (which is a little surprising)

Re: transfer tape leaving residue please help
that stuff doesnt come in a4 does it? it has to be clear as it covers the whole area of the text so for placement need to see through it, i have seen lots of videos on youtube using it but still have problems, its not like the tape used for mugs etc its a4

Re: transfer tape leaving residue please help
Hi Soulclaimed
I would suggest trying a different application tape. Siser do a couple of transfer films and I have never had a problem with either at 180 degrees c (350f), even when I forgot I was pressing something and it was under the press for three minutes!!!!
The buttons didn't look too good though
Siser are sold by grafitype and you can purchase it by the meter.
