Re: ties?

Post by AdamB »

I've been asked by a local football club if I can supply about 25 ties for the team.

These are the type of colours they are after in the tie and I think they can get the actual tie (blanks) - they will want their logo on the bottom of the tie.

I did a forum search for ties and found one from last year regarding magic touch and sublimation onto ties - has anyone tried YOLO papers on ties?

I use YOLO papers all the time and they 'wear/wash' really well - I'm just wondering if the same could be said if used on ties?

Have you sublimated one before Paul?

I've never done one and I've not heard many good stories of people that have tried to sublimate the kind of stripe design above onto a tie (maybe ok for a photo or dot design). Plus, I would have to get the back the same as the front and would probably miss the edges - I reckon it would be a nightmare.

But, as I said - for a simple design like a photo or dots I think sublimating would be fine but this is a striped design on the whole tie with a logo at the bottom.

It did cross my mind though - and I quickly dismissed it (lol) :)
