Not being a major seller on ebay I would not know for sure if the following might work.

instead of selling the physical item you actually sell them a code which they could then input on your website.

This will enable you to mark the item as dispatched as soon as you have emailed them, plus it would drive traffic to your website and if your website was good enough it could recommend other items with a discount etc.

Personally I would not tell any of the sellers or ebay itself but instead set up a new ebay account, sell a few items and see what the response was from those customers. If it is positive you could then revert it to your main account without running the risk of damage from poor feedback.

You cant (officialy) sell intangable items, they have to be physical items and be posted or collected.

They could be reported and withdrawn giving you policy violations and more than 3 of these your account you could banned indefinatly and all other linked accounts with them. (aparently)

But you could send them on a real piece of paper

Buying digital items
A digital item is a computer file or special information that you can access online or have delivered electronically, such as electronic books (ebooks), MP3 (music) files, digital pictures, or other electronic documents.
Digitally delivered goods and items which are transferred electronically are not permitted on eBay. The seller must supply the item on a physical format (e.g. CD or hardcopy) and follow the other guidelines in our digitally delivered goods policy.
Important: Access to digital content isn't eligible for eBay Buyer Protection

I know my own logo is on all my ebay pics but no it has no words (as in a logo not a logotype), but surely they'd have to allow company logos or whats the point in not having text but having a watermark? That's just asking for people to rip off your pics.

I think you'll be fine. I think its to avoid people putting FREE P&P - NEXT DAY DELIVERY on it, rather than showing words as in artwork, otherwise the whole t-shirt industry is just about to collapse never mind anything personalised.

I guess it's to make sellers actually have a picture of the product that is for sale, rather than just words saying what it is/their company name, which I have noticed a lot of sellers doing.

I think its to cut down on the big bold flashy graphics that a lot of companies have - like the one attached - which IMO is a bit shocking - I always make the product the star - not the sales blurb.

And folks check your listings ebay have done a massive 'muck up' and wiped out loads of sellers listings today.
saying you over your listing limit.
Complaints all over the net about it.
