Ricoh sg3110dn
Re: Ricoh sg3110dn
I have finally got around to setting up my new printer and there isn't a USB cable with it to connect it via my laptop. Why are these not included as standard? So frustrating, I've now got to wait until tomorrow before I can get out and buy one. Also can anyone tell be whether the Windows 8 compatibility problem is sorted yet. Thanks.

I know its blooming annoying when you pay so much for a printer and its not got all you need to get it going.
Have you got a normal printer cable you can use just to try it out with until you get a new one.

No, my normal printer is a wireless one so it hasn't got anything like that with it either. I have had it all (Printer/ Cutter/ Press etc) three weeks and been to scared to set it up before now. So I'm gutted!! Sods law eh!
Re: Ricoh sg3110dn
if you got a pc world currys argos etc near you they are open until late if you wanted to get going

Thanks Steve, I know I just can't get there today. Can you believe that I'm now setting up the Cameo cutter and it has a USB lead with that so I'll borrow that one for the moment

most printers generally don't come with USB cables...can't understand why, but thats the way it is. It's not just a Ricoh thing.

All I've done ( as I had to go out) is load the driver and the power driver as per instructions. Will it not work properly with Windows 8...I'm so confused !! lol
Re: Ricoh sg3110dn
PowerDriver is not supported (will not work) in Windows 8 yet. This is clearly stated on the Sawgrass website when you download it.Suzy Q;67681 wrote:All I've done ( as I had to go out) is load the driver and the power driver as per instructions.
