Cut Master2 for Craft Robo

After buying some equipment after P&P I decided the CR Silhouette SD would do part of the job, contour cut around the print. As I wanted to do all this through CD I thought I'd install Cut Master2. Not a chance in hell! :frown: No where in their documentation does it say you need SP3 installed for Windows XP Pro (yeah I know old, clunky etc. but our ethos is "If it ain't broke - why fix it", plus there are no drivers for some of my equipment available on later OS, we even still run about in what a lot of people class as OLD cars, thankfully Insurance sees them as Classic )

So 1.5 hours later (we have very slow BB, but at least we have it) I've downloaded SP3, go to install and that won't play either.

Outcome after 4+ hours still not been able to install either SP3 or Cut Master2, why oh why do I bother

Is that compulsary for being a member of the forum as well, loving windows? The only use I can find for windows is to open them first before throwing something out of them!

Why not download studio it works with the SD and its free http://www.silhouetteamerica.com/?page=software

I have the Studio Software as it's the Silhouette SD that the cutter is. I just want to work with Vectors and use layers to do print and cut. I really think this cutter is the biggest load of crock out there. Graphtec were no help whatsoever, response "We've got loads of happy customers running CM2, must be your machine get a new one".

Managed to get SP3 installed and guess what I now can't use the ColourCamm, just knew this would happen.

Will have to reinstall the whole lot and loose RStones etc.

To add icing to the cake, the laptop will no longer connect to wi-fi. I need a holiday, roll on end of May and I'm out of here for 2 weeks.
