I'm trying to find a product I used in a digital printing course I took but I don't know its name and haven't had much luck with Google. It was a very thin transparent plasticy film that you could cut from a roll and place on your garment and seal with heat transfer. It added a completely transparent fairly matte plastic layer to the fabric. I liked the effect and want to find it again. It looked a lot like cling film though it didn't stick to itself.
Can anyone tell me what this is called and/or where I can find it?

So it's just a transparent garment vinyl then?

Well it's not a vinyl, I don't think, in that it can't really be cut precisely, it's a very soft, very thin sort of film. It would be used to add a texture to a cloth but couldn't be used to, for example, cut out letter shapes.Justin;67298 wrote:So it's just a transparent garment vinyl then?

Siser sell a protective film for their transfers. You can purchase it from GRAFITYPE and it is called SISER-PRO
This can only be used with eco-solvent inks and is used to add a protective layer to your transfers.
Is that the stuff?
