have you put a sheet of thick card through, or better still, blotting paper if you can get it.
Alternatively, sprey a page of card with green windowleen and print a blank page onto it, cleans out all inkjet ink buildup, then run a few sheets of clean paper through to dry and clean it off.
Learn't this trick from Epsom wide format engineers who used windowleen to clean off ink buildup off everything.
No liability accepted for bad advice, but i would do it to mine.

I had the reverse impression, had heaps of hassle with my Epson, and never a spot of bother with the Ricoh.....
On the Ricoh there are progresively stronger power cleans in one of the sub menues, each pushing out more ink under greater pressure, have you discovered them ?

I'd hesitate to say you've nothing to loose. You may loose your Sawgrass warranty backup if you start going down the route of home made cleaning processes. Best advice would be to contact your supplier of the printer and inks with an image of the problem, serial numbers of your printer, date bought, batch numbers of the cartridges and whether you are using PowerDriver or not. They can then start to work out the problem and get it resolved for you.

Epson engineers also use cheap vodka for cleaning, but there is a strictness about the alcohol content allowable - too high and you'll damage the printhead.

And if it's that cheap imported vodka you could end up blind printing.

If at first you don't succeed, read the manual.

Have you got a second laptop or computer - try a fresh install on a different computer and follow it to the letter. Worth a try.
