hi, ive never noticed this before or if its just happened or not, but when i try and choose a colour from the spectrum to use with a brush, it says "out of gamut" and it paints a different shade of colour to what ive selected, does anyone know why? or how to change it?

thank you

Out of gamut is when you are choosing a colour from a differing pallete to the one you are using. Most common out of gamut issues are choosing bright greens from the RGB pallete when you are in CMYK

Out of gamut is when printer is unable to mix colors to achive one you picked. mocolors that are placed more outside the middle of the pallet are more difficult to repreduce.
