getting back on topic....

Spike, in Coreldraw in the print settings there is a tab titled MISC

Open the file, go to PRINT and select your printer and the profiles etc. but before you hit ok click on the MISC tab.

In there you will find a setting titled FOUNTAIN STEPS. make sure this is set to 256, sometimes they default to 128 which is not enough and could be the reason why it seems as if its a solid line.

Failing that then a workaround would be to export the file as a high resolution JPG and re-import the file back into Corel and try printing just the JPG. If the file you import shows the image more like the Mug than your original artwork then there is something wrong with the file structure (i.e. objects could be set to overprint).

Have a go at both of the above and let us know how you get on.
