my first ever sale of some of my photo panels today, or chromaluxe panels.
I have made a jig from a mouse mat as paul suggested.

any tips from the more experienced with printing these ?
they go to print tomorrow.

the only bad experience i've had with chromaluxe was on a very rainy day - the paper had too much humidity in it. other than that, gorgeous and easy to sell.

really hard to get a good pic of it with the flash

looks 10 times better in real life - stunning it is.

so clear and sharp with vibrant colours. skin tones are not as red as in pic either
Like i said, the pic does not do it any justice :rolleyes:

photo deleted - point taken on kids ;-) -

Great picture! As its a picture of someone's children, are they happy for it to be posted on a public forum? If it were my kids I wouldn't be too happy, but if they're yours then that's fine :)

Looks lovely and clean....how are you planning on hanging it?!?!

I did one earlier on xpress metal...but the centre of the press needs adjusted...only got a silver effect metal left to try.....now trying to find the ideal image. I love the high gloss look to it.....so will definitely be buying again..x

@james - settings were - 200C with 190 pre - 75sec medium pressure.

but not every press has the exact same settings - thats just for my press - get the rough settings from BMS site / Pauls Vid and go from there.
but i buggered up the first one why ?

you just wouldn't believe how much detail these photo panels from BMS really capture,so i had to go back into PS and blow the picture way, way up and get right of small spots here and there.
Hardly visible to the eye, but when printed, they seem to highlight ever little thing....which is good.
Just make sure you check your picture your gonna put on the panel in more detail before you print!.

oh and follow pauls advice - make a template from an old mouse mat - works wonders !
