Re: Hello from South GA
My name is Selena and I own a trophy/gift shop in Cairo, GA, USA. I was looking for sublimation forums and registered for this one, even though you're all in the UK, because so many people have actually posted here! Sublimation doesn't care where you live! I've been using sublimation for over 2 years and still need all the help I can get. Glad you're here and participating!

Re: Hello from South GA
Thanks, already seen alot of familiar "problems" in the discussions! My shelf of shame got so big last year I had to dump it and start a new one. Just love throwing stock in the trash cause I forgot to undo mirror for glass, let the image ghost on a tshirt or bag or got the lovely, lovely blotch effect on white aluminum! Any trick, tip, or experience shared helps with this stuff.
Just an FYI, I am a loyal, loving fan of Sir Terry Pratchett. My hero in every way!

Re: Hello from South GA
I actually use sublimation for plaque plates the most. People love the color and for schools it's a great way to do team photo plaques. I've sold alot of the 9 panel throw blankets and this year am seeing an increase in the photo murals. Not to sell their product, but thank God for chromaluxe. Never fail color. But, don't know about the rest of you, I have a really difficult time getting good photos out of people. They honestly think the little bitty image on their cell phone screen will blow up to a square foot size and look exactly the same. snort...
