Does any one know if there are settings in the craft robo where you can alter the force?
My robo from day one will not cut anything unless i use the blade for thicker vinyl and for example the sparkle does not cut at all well even large lettering.
I am asked by a local t new shirt design company if I can privide them with some flock t shirts but I don't know if there will be enough force on the blade. X pres are sending me some samples to try it out.

Yes that is what I meant Paul. I think i'm having a blonde moment because I had completely forgot about that
Especially as it is something I often change.
I have always had to use the yellow blade as the blue and pink even set to the highest don't cut even fresh air perhaps there has always been an issue with my cutter that i was not aware of unless there is another place where the settings can be changed too.
I am in another office at the moment but i will go and take a look soon.

I use the pink blade on the highest force ( is it 33, haven't got the software on this laptop ) for flock

I think the craft robo is an amazing little machine and have found the following settings work fine for me. Standard Flex - blue cover force 10, Sparkle - yellow cover force 30, Flock and Subli Flock - pink cover force 30.

Brian's right. The blue blade makes the blade stick out 0.1mm, the yellow 0.2mm and the pink 0.3mm. As flock is the thickest material then the pink blade is used with the greatest downforce (33). As flex is thin then the blue blade works fine and you don't need so much force (unless your blade starts to get blunt and then you can increase the force a little).
Re: CRAFT ROBO SETTINGS
Thats interesting as from day one my blue blade on 30 force won't cut through the air and i have to use the yellow on quite a high force, "sparkle" not a lot of hope, I try not to encourage the sale of it as it doesn't cut well at all . needless to say as i'm always using the yellow, when replaced the others just sit in the drawer.
I'll try the pink on 33 when the samples come in, hopfully it will be ok.
