In a nutshell that is it plus it says "power off on" which I assumed was an instruction so did. Still prints but says call service. So I have (called Ricoh helpline), and BMS. Ricoh helpline have called back and will send an engineer, as 24 month warranty still in force. The problem is I am not sure if I bought mine just before or just after ricoh said they wouldn't cover sublimation inks. Hence don't want the engineer coming out then charging me a fortune! Nobody at BMS answering the phones (landline and mobile). What a dilemma! This may duplicate as I tried posting earlier and it hasn't come up in the forum.

Quick update. Spoke to BMS, gave me the Sawgrass Number, they have taken the details and will get back to me. So fingers crossed, all goes well.

Next instalment, all looks promising. Sawgrass have spoken to Scott at BMS, he's been on to me and it seems there is a reset procedure which also requires a new set of cartridges. The cartridges are on their way so tomorrow should see the problem solved. a pleasant bonus is that I was due to order new cartridges shortly anyway. Currently riding the emotional roller coaster from mildly miffed to mildly happy. Yes ...... it's a very small roller coaster!

Our phone lines are open from 9 - 5 daily but Scott's on the case and this is a Sensor Error. The route to the hidden menu option is a little complicated but that will be sent to you and then the printer performs a brand new initiation and re-primes the tubes - this takes around 6-7 minutes and must be done with a brand new set of cartridges.JMugs;63828 wrote:In a nutshell that is it plus it says "power off on" which I assumed was an instruction so did. Forum really has glitches today "return" not working (only here!), and need to post twice, how odd. Anyway Scott on the case and superb service from BMS as always. Cheers from Janners.
