Ready to finally buy my Ricoh A3 and now it's out of stock at BMS......if.....
Re: Ready to finally buy my Ricoh A3 and now it's out of stock at BMS......if.....
I buy the printer and first set of inks from another authorised retailer am I then 'bound' to them for follow up inks or will I still get the same support if I chase for the cheapest price when I go to re-ink as long as it's one of Sawgrass' retailers!?!?!?

The support comes from Sawgrass as I understand it so as long as you use genuine Sawgrass inks it really shouldn't matter where you get them from.

RogerC is right.
As long as you purchase Sawgrass Inks you can purchase them from any seller.
I just purchased a set from Listawoods because they have the DSF Members 10% discount so pretty much the cheapest at the mo.

I've been using sublijet-r carts from BMS, I've also seen them on various other sites but with different packaging - something like visi-sub.
Now I''m not sure whether you can use both at the same time (as in 1 cyan using sublijet-r and a yellow using visi-sub) - that would be a good question for Sawgrass to answer.

Not sure if you can use the both at the same time, but the visi-sub uses the same powerdriver and profiles as the Sublijet, i think i read somewhere that they are the same just different packaging, but cant find the thread now.John G;63652 wrote:I've been using sublijet-r carts from BMS, I've also seen them on various other sites but with different packaging - something like visi-sub.

Sawgrass inks are pretty much price fixed, so you'll be lucky to find much of a price difference between dealers.
