i see the epson workforce 30 and inks will be £264 and the Ricoh GX e3300N will be 284 including inks, for the extra 20 pound would the ricoh be the much better choice?

also when the ink runs out in the cartridges, can i buy refillable cartridges and buy sawgrass ink and still be able to use the support?

ive found a used ricoh forsale, its got the geniune inks that are basically new and it comes with the powerdriver colour management software on cd's, if i purchased that would i still get the support? thank you

No you would not get support on a second hand one

if you have found a brand new ricoh printer with subli jetinks at a good price then i reccomend you buy it you will get the proper support when you need it you will produce plenty of products to buy the correct ink cartridges there are no short cuts iam afraid you going to have to bite the bullet and spend a little more than you firdt thought but you will save yourself money in the long run

its not a brand new one, its been used but its basically new he says, why do you not get support on a used one?

Because you get the support through the company you buy it from.

support is if something goes, wrong, maybe they would help you get a new printer cheaper or replace one, ect.

but if you have a chance of a second hand one that is in good condition and cheap enough you wouldnt get support, but you would get help setting up and with question from here.

but you could still buy the cartridges from the companies selling them, so you would need to weigh up the pros and cons of buying a second hand one, same as anything second hand.

Basicly its like do you buy new with 2 year guarantee
or second hand with no guarantee

what if i get the details of where he purchased it from with a receipt ect.., would i have the warranty then as i doubt its more than 2 years old?
also if i purchase a new one, what exactly does the warranty cover? and do you just replace it with a new one or do you need to send it away and wait for it to be repaired?
