I would rather pay more and buy on quality than price. I will buy from BMS when back in stock and do tests to compare. I have also bought more than one mug press to compare for quality. Costs a bit more but if you plan to be in business for awhile then you have to spend first and profit over the long term.
Listawood use the RN coating on their Dishwasher proof claim (just rebranded to their own name). Many suppliers including BMS also use RN so should be easier to compare. One thing to consider though is that the mugs can all be of a different quality regardless if using the same coating.

Listawoods Budget mug is of comparable quality to BMS's cheap mugs, having used both, the only different I can tell is the price.

Listawood used to have Orca coating on their budget mug earlier in 2012. Orca is a very good coating and not far behind RN. It now appears they use JS coatings which is a newer Chinese coating and used by a few of the larger suppliers over there.

Follow up on Listawood mugs. Purchased a box of 36. Have used about 30 so far. 7 have small imperfections. Small cracks, lumps and one had a small hair under the surface. My BMS mugs have arrived but haven't tried them yet.

Pity about Liostawood as they seem to be the only ones who says they are dishwaher "proof" as well a safe.

Tried Raja but they called when I was out. Said they would send an email but never have. Are they worth contacting again?

Try Novachrome, they usually have great stock levels.

From the BMS website :
"We are the first company in the UK to offer a 12 month dishwasher guarantee on all our RN coated ceramic products. You can rest assured that once you have printed on these products with genuine Sawgrass sublimation inks your image will last and you can pass on this guarantee to your customer."

I think you'll find BMS will have a comment regarding this. This from their site:

These mugs are fully dishwasher safe, coated in the RN sublimation coating and microwave safe. We have tested them for months in dishwashers using the Finish PowerBall dishwasher tablet with NO deterioration in image quality. You can give your customers a complete dishwasher proof gaurantee with our RN coated mugs.

As they do all their own testing this is not Bulls*it.

PS.....ooops didn't see the above before posting this....still a supporting post doesn't do any harm.

I purchased 72 mugs from BMS a week ago. About to start using them tomorrow (Friday) so I will be able to compare to the Lisawood ones.
