Re: advice on printer

Post by india »

my epson s22 has finally given up the ghost, forever head cleaning unblocking nozzles etc and now its saying ink pads are at end of life, ive only had for about 7 months
so hoping warrenty will be useful.
BUT i really dont want another one of these, its been a constant source of stress ever since it came out of box!!

BUt i have just invested in a fair bit of sub ink for it, can anyone tell me which other printer i could use the ink in??

I also want to be able to print onto printable flex, so am also looking for a printer suitable for this?? apparently my other epson SX515W is not suitable for either, can anyone confirm this??

Is there such a printer suitable for both above purposes??

I will sometime this year invest in a rioch or something similar, but not yet?? so not looking to spend too much at this current time.

any help much appreciated thanks

As your printer is only 7 months old and still in warranty why not look into getting it replaced under warranty if only to use up the inks you already have. I appreciate it puts you back with Epson but it does keep your funds with you towards building your money pot towards a Ricoh.

the reason i am looking to buy something relativly cheap right now is because i have orders to complete and ink to use up, even if my other epson is covered under warrenty (which i doubt), it will be some time before i actually get the replacement, but i need a printer like now so i can get current orders done. hence my request for advice on list of printers i can use that ink in thanks x
