Re: Have been way, way overpriced

Post by bigj2552 »

just after Christmas day i opened my ebay store - i lowered all my own web site/store prices to bring them inline with my ebay store prices.
No wonder my sales have been dam slow over xmas - i was way to expensive with the prices on my products..
Since i lowered the prices on the web site, KA-CHING. getting sales the way it should be/expected .
Also the Ebay store is driving more people to my own web site, so the 2 go hand in hand perfectly.
Just need to get another 6 seller feedback and ebay says it will lift the selling/listing limit of 100 items per month to what ever i wish - that means i can fire up a hell of a lot more stock and a hell of a lot more variations in stock, which i cant do just now because of the sellers limits imposed by ebay

Live and learn i suppose - sometimes the hard way :frown:

Just need to figure Amazon.co.uk with there pesky EAN bar codes and we're on the road to a busy-er 2013 .
i applied for an exception and said i was selling unbranded, personalised products, but they were having none of it.
They told me to go and BUY some bar codes
we will see - still looking into this

Don't fall into the trap of giving your stuff away just to get sales. Your profit from ebay will be far less than profit off your own website.

ALL calculated john  - still making profit ( aint that daft bud ) - lower price - sell more - get more exposure - sell more - you know where this is going.

yeh i did phone bud and the reply i got was -

you need to get min of 10 seller feedback before we can do anything for you.
After you get 10+ seller feedback, phone us and tell us what you need

Not be long - giving me time to get stock and other loose end tied up

Registered as a business seller, if it make any difference
