Re: Wp-4015dn ciss

I've been away from mug printing for a while and chucked all my old printers and bulk ink systems as they hadn't been used in a couple of years.

But it appears that Artanium have ditched their A4 printing systems.

Does the Epson WP-4015DN have a CISS system?

Anyone using bottled Artanium ink with this printer?

Are there profiles for this pair?

Gary, I've found these on Ebay & I have bought from them in the past & they are a good company to deal with. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/non-oem-ciss- ... 3f204b3623

Thanks, I found their website and saw those carts, I'm guessing that no CISS exists since they use larger carts.

Just the profile to find!

Gary, There is no CISS for this printer because, the cartridges hold more ink than a CISS. To be honest the cartridges are much better because you don't have the tubes & external tanks which I prefer.

You can download the Power Driver or ICC profile from here http://www.sawgrasseurope.com/technical ... ublijet-iq I would go for the Power Driver because other members who use it always say they get very good results.

I think I've decided on the Epson WP 4015 with refillable carts.

I was always impressed with Artainium bottled ink, but is the Sublijet range a cheaper formulation or is it just Artainium re-branded for A4 printers?

How would those sublijet profiles you linked to perform with artainium ink?

Also, if I'm printing from Photoshop, should I be using the ICC profile as normal or this new powerdriver?

SubliJet-IQ ink is different to Artainium. The Profiles/ PowerDriver aren't set to work with Artainium inks and the Epson printer isn't supported with Artainium inks. If you do go down this route then Sawgrass won't be there to step in with any warranty support unless you use the SubliJet-IQ inks that it is supported for use with.

Why are Sawgrass controlling which model of printer I have to buy? They supported bottled Artainium ink with A4 Epson printers two years ago when I last purchased it, why not now?

What kind of support do they offer for disposable ink? If I have a problem with it, I'll bin it (along with the printer probably) and buy a different brand.
