I have seen a few people on the net calling them cups... Does drive me abit mad :)
Maybe that's a good thing for targeting the young ones " Personalised Cups " Im only 19 (Maybe the youngest on here) but i have always used the word Mug... not Cup! :P

I'll ask my 15 year old when he gets in shortly. I'm pretty sure he would call it a mug, but his mother is from near Preston and they call soft rolls all sorts of things (could be a barm, could be a teacake).......
I'm learning. So I'm probably spouting rubbish. Be patient

We're the same in our house, we call them mugs but then we don't drink tea or coffee in our house. A plastic (IKEA) 'glass' is a cup to us. Got a 12 and 15 year old and they call them mugs too...but they obviously use the same vocabulary as us...(other than the sweary words that the school teach them!!! ;O)

"Your Mug on a Mug" sound so much better than "Your mug on a Cup". I keep my mugs in a mugboard as well....

Me neither ....but BOY do they learn some 'choice' words at school....mind you....thankfully they've changed 'dogging' (playing truant from school) to 'patching it'.....try explaining the other explanation of 'dogging it' to your 15 year old without blushing!!!!
