Re: Photoshop help needed.
Hi Paul
I want to stick with the first example you showed to me as it keeps the circle the same size. Ive just found out that i am using this as a template for a 10inch plate so i measured the centre for the picture and its 6 and a half inches. guess if i knock that down to 6 and a quarter inches i can allow for play. Ive tried the first example and could not cut the centre of the circle out. On the edit button the list for cut was greyed out.I did notice however that a new layer was created in the layers menue called Vectormask. I dont know if this is the problem as i did not see this in your example. thats as much as i can tell you

did you click on the padlock twice? you must do it right on the padlock. not next to it etc... when padlock unlocked. make sure your layer is selected. simply click on the layer onse so it will get blue,Greensleeves wrote:Hi Paul

The only way i can get the cut to work is if i click on the other layer above the blank page layer with the circle in it but it just blacks out the whole page

Re: Photoshop help needed.
ok i followed your steps to the letter and put the circle into the page. a new layer open up above the original one. I had to select that layer and still no cut on the menue. i then selected the circle inside that second layer and the cut worked to a point. it made the circle dissapear completely off the page leaving it blank. The second layer now reads shape 1.Greensleeves wrote:how do i get a screen print. i see a button my keyboard with prt sc but i dont know how to use it.Paul wrote:after u unlock the pic can you still see circle selected on white background?? if so can you hit "del" on your keyboard? will se what happen. also can you send me your screen print please?
