flock on top of flock

Ive done lots of flock pressing now onto cushions etc, and all have been one colour, i now want to move onto doing designs with more than one colour.
Im using the silhoutte cameo for designing and cutting.

In some of my designs the different colour parts sort of overlap eachother, how do i get round this??

any tips on multi colour cutting and pressing of flock much appreciated

Can you remove the lower section so that the second colour sits in the space left? Depends on the type of flock, I've done it before but it can look messy/press the flock down.

yes thats what i did but yes it does look a little messy, oh well more practice i suppose x

im just practising on something with just 2 colours and a simple design, will post pic tomorrow as off to my bed now.

having done a little researching im wondering if the way forward for this project is printable vinyl?? anyone tried it.

Overlaying flock isn't a good idea tbh. Yes you could use printable vinyl and it is very good but again depends on your design as to whether this is the best option, how much you're printing, size etc.

I use a lot of printed vinyl and with a Versacamm I ger excellent multi colour results. Some vinyls don't feel so nice on clothing as they are a bit on the thick side but the Siser ones from Grafityp are among the best......and can be applied to cotton, polyester, polycotton blends ....and lycra. Unlike other vinyls this one stretches and recovers it's shape without cracking.
