... and then who decides on who is proper trade, and who is just a hobbyist? Where do you draw the line on this? Can only Ltd companies sign up as being a trade company? Do you need to do credit checks etc? Personally we wouldn't mind this, as we already use some suppliers who have these arrangements. But, there would be a lot of people working with sublimation who wouldn't be classed as proper professional/trade and would then not be able to order.

Maybe not as strict as a traders only but if you need to take the time to register yourself as a trader or hobbiest then at least my customers couldn't see my mark ups. I wouldn't mind having to log in each time for this.

I agree with Dave on this. To my mind the perfect site is BTCactivewear. Their site has everything on there but you have to open an account with them to see the prices. Anyone can open an account but I bet it stops the nosey parkers.

I dont think it is a case of someone wanting to order, it is probably more to do with stopping the "You are charging me £8.00 for a mug that only costs £1.00" brigade

And viccar, why not make all your passwords the same? if that is not an option then invest in an internet security package that has password management. With these you login in to the security software and then when you need to login to a website it does this automatically

I'm looking into adding a feedback/rating system for suppliers but need to do some more work first and discuss this with mods, expect to possibly see something early in the New Year

in the last 2 moths ive checked out at least 20 suppliers and would have hated to have to register with them all.

Do customers realy know, where and what to check?

Most people i speak to think you can just print on any old mug, and ive even had someone say "ah wilkinsons are doing a set of white mugs for a £1.50 why not buy them?"

Clear pricing that doesn't increase each time you visit the same site, Also clear delivery options that i can view before i have to put in my details and maybe FREE delivery over a certain amount would be nice.
