Hi
Am just getting set up and the local school have asked me to produce some of these vinyl stickers that are in the shape of a number plate, they sell on fleebay with names/funnies on such as ANDREW1 hopefully you know what I mean...they are mainly yellow, have the EU circle and blue section on the right and are printed in black.
What I need to know is where I find a template from?
Do I print on clear vinyl from a coloured inkjet or what do I do printing wise?
Is there a way of making these stickers fit to the inside of the windscreen rather than using them as bumper style stickers?
Thanks in advance, not looked into this so unsure on how to progress.
Cheers Lisa
How to make the "funnies" licence number plates in vinyl?
Re: How to make the "funnies" licence number plates in vinyl?
Hi Lisa
I think Martin just posted about something similar on another thread.
You need something called "cling" which you can print on from a laser printer.
I'm going to look into it aswell

There is a yellow reflective vinyl that we have used for creating the backgrounds to number plates - you can then cut other colours of vinyl to stick on to it. You won't be able to print a reflective colour so it depends how fancy you want to get - or how cheaply you need to produce it (and in what size). The cling material (A4 size) can be printed in a laser printer and then cut with something like the Craft ROBO.
